On Monday, Feb. 5, Woodlawn students and staff celebrated the 100th day of school this year with math games and more. The datie coincided with the first day that Woodlawn Elementary was opened for the first time for classes. According to the newspaper article, on its opening Feb. 5, 1924, Woodlawn lauded as the most modern elementary school in the city, built especially for children." Special thank you to USD 497 for capturing the excitement (see photos below).
